Duties and Responsibilities

This is an entry and training grade for degree holders. An officer at this level will be deployed at the Sub-County level or Agricultural Training Center to.

(Coordinate delivery of extension activities in either one of the following areas: Crop Production, Horticultural Production, Home-Economics, Land Developmer.t, or Agricultural Extension

Coliecting and packaging of new and existing agricultural technologies for dissemination to crop related value chain actors;

(Coilecting, collating agriculture information and inputting into a database;

Management of information desks within the Sub - County.

Any other duty as assigned from time to time

Qualifications

For appointment te this position, a candidate must have;

Kenyan Citizenship

Bachelors of Science degree in any of the following disciplines Agriculture; Agronomy; Agricultural Extension and Education; Agriculture and Extension; Agriculture and Home Economics; Agriculture and Human Ecology; Agriculture Economics; Crop Protection; Dry-land Resource Management; Home Economics; Horticulture; Food Science and Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

Certificate of memberslip to a professional body from a recognized institution will be an added advantage; and

Certificate in computer application skills
