Kisii County Electrical Inspector - Electrician Jobs in Kenya

The Kisii County Government invites applications from suitable and qualified Kenyan Citizens to fill vacancies pursuant to Article 235 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 and Section 63 of the County Government Act, 2012.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring systems/equipments;

Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes;

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system;

Offer advice on function behaviors of machine system;

Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment e.g motors;

Repair or replace wiring;

Write reports about repairs.

Carrying out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements and Competencies

Be a Kenyan Citizen.

Diploma in electrical;

Demonstrate experience wiring for 3yrs;

Minimum KCSE C or its equivalent;

In possession of current electrician’s license is an added advantage.
