Position Summary

The position is responsible in supporting the management of records function in the Institute.

Key Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will entail: -

Participating in implementation of records management policies and procedures;

Securing of files and information;

Profiling of documents, pending correspondences and bring ups;

Ensuring compliance with the relevant accordance with relevant laws and regulations on records management;

Appraisal and disposal of dormant files/documents;

Classifying and indexing of records;

Ensuring efficient mail management; and

Maintaining, verifying and evaluating existing records management Systems

Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

Diploma in Records Management, Information Management, Information Science, Library Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;

Supervisory course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a recognized institution;

At least three (3) years relevant work experience;

Shown merit and ability and depicted in work performance

Computer skills; and

Fulfil the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution.
