Position SummaryThis position is responsible for the professional and efficient managing of visitors, consumers, telephone calls and messages, as well as a variety of clerical duties that support the department, information and referral and the operation and presentation of a professional office
Key ResponsibilitiesDuties and responsibilities will entail: -
Taking charge of the reception desk;
Visitors profiling;
Receiving and ushering guests;
Maintaining daily record of visitors details;
Maintaining good ambience in the reception area;
Responding to visitors queries;
Receiving, guiding and directing visitors to designated offices and areas;
Issuing passes to visitors;
Facilitating in organization of Institute’s events; and
Assisting in administrative services and duties.
Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Diploma in communication, Customer Service, Public Relations or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Three (3) years relevant work experience;
Possession of graphics design, video editing/editorials, brand management, social media, and media coverage skills is an added
advantage
Computer Skills in corporate communication tools e.g. web, social media and print media;
Demonstrated professional competence; and
Fulfil the requirements for Chapter six (6) of the Constitution
