Duties and responsibilities

• Liaising with clients on site to ensure works are carried out as expected.

• Performing surveys, fieldwork, calculations, data reduction and manipulations.

• Preparing models for Set out and machine guidance.

• Completing as-constructed reports and plans.

• Managing survey equipment and software.

Requirements for appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must;

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Survey or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.

• Have Registration with relevant Professional Body.

• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010
