Job Summary

The Company Driver is responsible for driving and maintaining the assigned company vehicles in accordance with the company process, guidelines and regulations as well as the Traffic and Road Safety Act 1998 (As Amended) and other applicable regulations.

Key Functions

Driving any vehicle assigned for official duty and assignments

Carrying out basic maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle

Reporting all Technical and Mechanical faults to the supervising officer

Ensuring the safety of the vehicle and its occupants while on duty

Any other duties assigned by the Senior Administration Officer.

Person Specifications:

Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)

Valid Driving License to drive a bus (Class/ Group DM)

Certificate in Defensive Driving

Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE)

Must pass a personality test


Experience (Minimum Requirements)

Three (3) years experience as a Company Driver.

Competencies

Basic Knowledge of Mechanical and Vehicle Maintenance

Clean Driving Record

Public Relations and Customer Care

Flexibility

Time management.

Ability to Speak, Read and Write English.
