For appointment to this position, one must have:
Relevance bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution with at least one (1) year post qualification working experience. Those with CPS I or Postgraduate Diploma in relevant area will have an added advantage,
Must be a member of a professional body
ICT Competence
Duties and Responsibilities
Processing of documents for onward transmission to Senate and Management Board;
Providing secretariat services to School/Faculty/Centre/Department;
Ensuring that venues and equipment for meetings are set in time;
Issuing students with examination cards;
Preparing arranging and labeling of graduands seats;
Day to day operations in the office and attend to students;
Processing of transcripts;
Ensuring that appropriate documents are filed in students files;
Assisting in registration and orientation of students;
Providing liaison support to graduate students on issues of presentations; and
Performing any other official duties as may be assigned by authorized officers of the University.

Interested and suitably qualified individuals should submit their applications enclosing relevant identification, academic and professional certificates, detailed and updated curriculum vitae Testimonials, and other relevant supporting documents with day time telephone contact in ten (10) copies each to the Vice Chancellor as shown below.
They should also give three (3) referees one of whom must be their present Supervisor/Head of Department.

Clearance from Kenya Revenue Authority
Clearance from Higher Education Loans Council
Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
Clearance from Credit Reference Bureau
Criminal Investigation Department (Certificate of Good Conduct)
Letters of recommendation from at least three persons familiar with the applicant’s professional experience and character in general should also be sent to the address below before 31st January, 2017 by 5 pm.

Requirements
For appointment to these positions, applicants Must:-
Department of Social Sciences
Tutorial Fellow (Community Health Nursing)- Scale 11 - KIBU/ASA/12/01/16 - 1 post
Tutorial Fellow (Midwifery)- Scale 11 - 1 post -KIBU/ASA/12/02/16
Tutorial Fellow (Clinical Nursing)- Scale 11 - 1 post - KIBU/ASA/12/03/16
Tutorial Fellow (Nursing Leadership and Health System Management) - Scale 11 - 1 post - KIBU/ASA/12/04/16
Have a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree qualification from a recognized/accredited University in the relevant field
Be registered for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or equivalent Doctoral degree qualification; and
Be registered or registerable with relevant professional body (where applicable).
ICT competence
NB: Those with qualifications from outside East Africa’s chartered universities
MUST show evidence of their qualifications recognition and equation by the Commission of University Education (CUE).
Successful applicants for teaching positions will be expected to teach at undergraduate level, initiate and direct relevant research projects and participate in the
implementation of University extension services as well as departmental and field activities.

Terms of Service
Appointments will be offered on Permanent and Pensionable Terms subject to applicants’ successful completion of probation.
