Kiambu County Legal Officer Jobs in Kenya

Reports to the Head of Litigation and Prosecution department.
Requirements for Appointment

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university;

Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Studies from the Council of Legal Education;

One (1) year relevant experience from the date of admission as an Advocate of the
High Court of Kenya;

A certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution;

Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;

Be a member of Law Society of Kenya with good standing.

Duties and Responsibilities

Taking hearing dates in litigation matters;

Facilitating service of legal documents;

Collecting, circulating and filing of published bills and subsidiary and subsidiary
legislation;

Filing of court documents and any other legal documents;

Organizing the legal department registry;

Drafting legal documents under the supervision of the litigation counsel;

Providing any other clerical services that may be required by the Legal
department;
