Job Description

The Warehouse Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse or distribution center.

Their primary goal is to ensure efficient and organized handling of inventory, accurate record-keeping, and seamless logistics processes.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained. This involves keeping track of incoming and outgoing shipments, conducting regular stock counts, and reconciling any discrepancies.

Receiving and Inspection: Coordinate the receiving of goods and materials, checking them against purchase orders and ensuring their quality and quantity.

Any damaged or defective items should be properly documented and reported.

Storage and Layout: Organize and arrange items within the warehouse to maximize space utilization and ease of access. Implement efficient shelving and storage systems to minimize the risk of damage and facilitate quick retrieval.

Picking and Packing: Oversee the process of picking items from the inventory for outgoing orders.

Ensure accurate packing of products, proper labeling, and adherence to customer requirements.

Requirements

Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree in relevant fields with 1 - 2 years relevant work experience.

Candidate must possess great numerical skills

Attention to details

Good communication skills

Must display a high level of transparency and integrity on the job.

Candidate should be willing to work weekends.
