Overall Job Purpose

To support the Chairman in driving the Group Vision and business Diversification/ Expansion strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities

To help the chairman to be better organized and effective in his role by efficiently managing his calendar/itinerary, communication and travel arrangements

To assist the Chairman in his business oversight functions especially with regards to tracking and driving execution of strategies across the various companies within the group

Assist the chairman in driving business expansion especially with regards to planning and execution of new projects

In the absence of the Chairman, to be able to make sound decisions on urgent and critical issues getting approvals from him where necessary

Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role should meet the following specification:

A good First Degree preferably in Economics, Business Analytics, Accounting, Project management or Life Sciences from a top tier university with a First Class or minimum Second Class Upper certificate

A minimum of 4 years work experience preferably in a diversified company

Matured (require minimum supervision), Intelligent with entrepreneurial instincts

Strong IT/computer skills; ERP, Microsoft office package especially spreadsheet,

word and PowerPoint

Must be good with numbers and have attention to details

Must be smart/hardworking, dependable, trustworthy (integrity) and thrive in a pressure environment
