Duties and Responsibilities

The officer will work under supervision of a more senior officer. Specific duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, sorting, opening, filling, minuting and distribution of mail;

  • Dispatching of mails; and

  • Guiding on files disposal.

    Requirement for Appointment

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C plain from the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) or equivalent from a recognized institution; and

  • A Diploma in records/Information Management from a recognized institution.

  • Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.
