Kericho County Public Service Board Tourism and Development Officer Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities:

This is the entry and training grade for general degree holders. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a Senior Officer.

Duties and responsibilities will entail:

Identifying and preparing simple reports on tourism products; identifying Small and Medium Tourism enterprises (SMTE’s) and community based tourism projects

inspecting and preparing reports on tourism facilities and service providers; collecting data and information for development of tourism guide books and tourism statistics

Identifying suitable locations for mounting signages.

Requirements for appointment

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Environmental Studies, Sociology, Geography, Business Administration, Commerce (Marketing option), International Relations or its equivalent from a recognized institution: and

Certificate in Computer applications skills from a recognized institution.
