Kericho County Information Officer (Print and Electronic Media) Jobs in Kenya



Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and setting up photo shoots;

  • Scheduling and capturing photos during Government functions;

  • Editing photos into usable clips and multimedia products for web and social media platforms

  • Maintaining the media equipment;

  • Compiling image processing and maintaining a photo album and archive;

  • Planning, directing, organizing and shooting of videos of County Government events, projects and achievements.

  • Preparing videos and information to be posted on the government website and social media platforms.

  • Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

    Requirements for Appointment

  • Be in possession of a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Mass Communication, Communication Studies, Journalism, Public Relations or International Relations from a recognized University/Institution;

  • Possess good oral and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili;

  • Experience in all major photo editing software packages and

  • Certificate in computer applications.
