Kericho County Enterprise Board Members Jobs in Kenya

The Board shall comprise of four (4) members sourced through a competitive recruitment process.

One person representing the men

One person representing the women

One person representing Persons with Disabilities

One person representing the youth.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Board shall perform the following:

Provide overall management and oversight of the fund;

Advise the Executive Member for Finance on the appropriate guidelines and procedures for better management of the fund;

Approving disbursement or utilization of the fund;

Prepare annual report on the implementation of the fund for transmission to the Executive Member for Finance;

Advising the Executive Member for Finance generally on the implementation of this Act

The Secretary shall provide the secretariat services to the Board.

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment, the applicant must;

Be a holder of at least a first degree from a university recognized in Kenya, except Persons with Disabilities (PWD) which must hold at least a diploma in any field from a recognized institution and are registered with National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD);

Working experience of not less than five (5) years in administration or management either in the public or private sector; and

Fulfill the requirements of Chapter (6) six of the Constitution of Kenya, specifically applicants must provide;

A valid tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA);

A valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI);

A valid Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB); and

A valid Clearance Certificate from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
