Kerchanshe Trading P.L.C is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in Ethiopia, It has a proud history of providing quality coffees to the local and international markets. Currently our company needs a dedicated and motivated candidate.

General Job Description:

He/ she is responsible for communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures

Specific Job Description:

Evaluating various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency

Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees

Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules

Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance

Check production output according to specifications

Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures

Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

Organizing training and educational manuals for the production team

Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires identifying and troubleshooting production issues

Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility

Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals

Maintaining communication between employees and managers to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood

Ensuring the flow of raw materials and other

resources

Submit reports on performance and progress

Job Requirements

Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study (Manufacturing/Operations).

Experience

Minimum of 7 years' experience, with at least 3 years as a Senior Production Officer.

Required Skill

Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic

Ability to create and adhere to production processes

Ability to write reports legibly and accurately

Relevant training and certification in industrial production, engineering, or any related field
