Human Resource Officer
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Formulating, interpreting and reviewing Human Resource Management policies and standards governing terms and conditions of service.
Providing policy guidance and development of Human Resource plans, succession planning for optimal utilization of Human Resource.
Administering and reviewing the Schemes of Service, reward Management, and labour laws.
Training and development of staff.
Conducting human Resource surveys.
Performance management.
Recruitment and selection of staff.
Dealing with customer satisfaction complaints.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences/Human Resource Management/Business Administration or other relevant course from a university recognized in Kenya.
Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management/Public/Business Administration (Human Resource Management option) or its recognized equivalent from a university recognized in Kenya.
Diploma in Human Resource
Management from an Institution recognized in Kenya.
Three (3) years relevant experience as Senior Human Resource Officer or an equivalent position in a busy organization.
Membership in a relevant professional body in good standing.
Experience in Human Resource Management systems.
Knowledge of national labour laws.
Compliance requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya.
