Kenyatta University seeks to recruit competent and dedicated applicants to fill up the following position
Kenyatta University Principal Pensions Officer Jobs in KenyaReporting to the Kenyatta University Pension Trustee Board, the Principle Pensions Officer
will work together with the University to manage the Kenyatta University Employee Pension
Fund
Responsibilities
To give advice to the Board of Trustees of Kenyatta University in relation to legislative
issues concerning pensions.
Be in charge of management of the University’s pension scheme
Responsible for all statements, advice and information given to employees and members
of the various pension schemes as required.
Ensure monthly and annual reconciliation of contributions of contributions to the
pension scheme.
In consultation with the Trustee Board make decisions with regards to the running of
the Pension Schemes by interpretation of scheme rules, legislation and current custom
and practice.
Act as the first stage decision maker for Internal Disputes Resolution and make
appropriate decisions on behalf of the Scheme
Requirements
Masters’ Degree in Financial Management or any other relevant area from a recognized
institution
Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Option)
Holder of CPA (K).
Minimum five (5) years relevant experience in pensions administration or pensions
consultancy or in a related role such as accountancy, actuarial work or investment
management

year performance based renewable contract, a generous medical scheme, house allowance and commuting allowance.
