Kenyatta University Catholic Priest Jobs in Kenya

  • The Chaplain shall report to the Vice – Chancellor and Director, Student Affairs for the
    coordination of religious activities among the Catholic community that comprises students, staff
    and residents in the University.
  • The Chaplain will also work with other University Chaplains on issues of religion and welfare of the Catholic community under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor.
  • The Chaplain will be appointed at the level of a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer depending on the
    experience.

    Qualifications:

  • At least a Master Degree in a relevant area such as Theology, Sociology, General
    Psychology, Psychology of Education, Philosophy or religious studies or any other
    relevant field. Ph.D Degree in a relevant area will be an added advantage
  • Be ordained and recommended by his church.
  • Be well informed in Catholic Church activities and running of students religious organizations in the Kenyan Universities or other educational institutions.
  • Be mature and of unquestionable Christian integrity.
  • Have evidence of experience in guidance and counseling either at church or other
    relevant institutions.

    The terms for the above position includes a generous medical scheme, house allowance
    and commuting allowance.

    Kenyatta University Senior Lecturer Jobs in Kenya

    Qualifications:

  • PhD. Degree in Environmental Planning and Management, Urban & Regional Planning, or
    any other relevant field from a recognized University.
  • At least five years of University teaching, three of which as full-time Lecturer.
  • At least three articles in refereed Journals since being appointed Lecturer.
  • Successful supervision of at
    least three (3) Masters Students.
  • Evidence of applying for a grant either individually or as a group since being appointed as Lecturer.
  • Evidence of good quality teaching.
  • Evidence of attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars or workshops.
