Ensure continuous advisory services concerning hospital engineering services in the hospital to the hospital executive and other stakeholders through the appropriate media
Work in collaboration with other (clinical) divisions, sections and departments in dealing with engineering issues for timely quality clinical referral, research and training services in the hospital
Ensure and oversee monitoring and evaluation of the hospital engineering division in order to establish its progress and achievement, prepare and disseminate periodic reports appropriately.
Qualifications:
Bachelors’ Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution
Masters’ Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution
At least five (5) years’ experience as an Assistant Director in an Engineering field in a similar level organisation, or four years’ working experience as an Assistant Director of an engineering field in a County Government
Registration with accredited respective regulatory and/or professional body where applicable
Computer literate
Knowledge of relevant legislations
Knowledge of professional standards
Human resource management skills
12. Hospital Public Health Officer
Reports to the Director Clinical Services.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee, plan and implement public health programmes and projects in the hospital
Oversee, plan and coordinate environmental and public health service in the hospital
Interpret and ensure enforcement of public health and environmental laws, regulations and standards in all the sections of the hospital
Vet and approve all infrastructural development plans in the in the hospital for safety
Ensure water supplies quality control, food quality control and safety control in order to control communicable diseases and suppress epidemics in the hospital
Ensure proper drainage of water and disposal of sewage and proper and safe hospital waste disposal systems
Provide technical advice on preventive and promotive health and ensure compliance to the national public health regulations and rules in the hospital
Work in collaboration with other clinical regulation and standards, and hospital engineering sections and specialists to ensure environmental safety and security in the hospital
Represent the hospital in public health and sanitation forums and national and regional government partnerships and networks for safe environment in the department within and without the hospital
Offer public health and sanitation advisory service to the hospital executive and other stakeholders and sensitise among them all public health and sanitation policies and programmes
Ensure appropriate management of public health and sanitation data and information at the hospital and ensure its compilation and appropriate reporting.
Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health Sciences from a recognised institution
Must be registered with the Public Health Officers’ and Technicians’ Board of Kenya
At least three (3) years’ working experience as a Public Health Officer I in a reputable hospital
Must have a valid practice license
A Certificate in a course in life-saving will be an added advantage.

13. Security Manager
Reporting to the Assistant Director Administration and Finance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Plan for human and non-human resource for the security department of the hospital
Ensure sufficient supply of commodities needed in the security department of the hospital
Manage and supervise staff in the security department of the hospital together with their work
Ensure budgeting and management of resources needed at and allocated to the security department of the hospital
Oversee and ensure preparation of periodic work plans for the security department of the hospital and ensure that they are appropriately implemented
Ensure that the security department provides quality, sufficient and timely security services
to patients and staff in the hospital
Participate in the recruitment and disciplinary action of the security department of the hospital in collaboration with Human Resource Management department
Ensure and facilitate acquisition and maintenance of security appliances and machines and facilities of the hospital
Ensure proper security and safety services in the hospital by ensuring that security staff are properly trained and sufficient manning all their stations in the hospital
Ensure continuous training and development of security staff in the hospital in collaboration with human resource management department of the hospital
Monitor and evaluate the progress, performance and productivity of the security department of the hospital in order to ensure continuous provision of timely quality and sufficient security services in the hospital, and disseminate the reports appropriately.
Qualifications:
Bachelors’ Degree in Health Management / Administration, Business Administration, or Social Sciences
Must be a former Inspector of Police in National Police Service, or a Lieutenant in Kenya Defense Forces.
At least five (5) years’ working experience as a Security Manager, or Senior Health Administrative Officer with experience in security management or similar level organization
Computer literate
Training in security services
Knowledge of relevant legislations
Knowledge of professional standards
Investigation skills
14. Chief Records and Information Manager
Reporting to the Director-Clinical Services.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Plan for all health records & information management services and resources in the health records & information management department of the hospital, participate in and contribute to its overall strategic planning
Ensure and coordinate the implementation of the hospital strategic plan in the health records & information management department within the framework of the vision, mission and culture/philosophy of the hospital and other national and international healthcare and frameworks
Chair health records & information management department services and training matters in the hospital and act as its contact person
Ensure that health records & information management department of the hospital has all human and non-human resources required to offer health records & information management services, research and training in the hospital
Participate in the recruitment and disciplinary action and processes of health records and information management staff in the hospital
Coordinate and provide health records & information management services and service delivery in the health records and information management department of the hospital ensuring that they meet the expected standards of quality, quantity and compliance
Supervise health records & information management staff together with their services, in the department of the hospital to ensure that they offer timely services within the expected standards of quantity and quantity complying with the established ethics and regulations
Ensure and coordinate continuous training and development of health records & information management staff for their effective and efficient performance and productivity
Coordinate and provide health records & information management research and training within the hospital
