Kenyatta National Hospital - Medical Physicist - Jobs in Kenya


Job Purpose

The Medical Physicist II will be reporting to the Senior Medical Physicist and will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of Medical Physics services in the Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Planning treatment of cancer patients.
  • Performing radiation dosimetry work.
  • Performing both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for cancer patients.
  • Administrating radioactive drugs to patient undergoing diagnosis or therapy under a specialist’s prescription; and
  • Coaching, mentoring, guiding and counselling of staff.

    Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Physics or Engineering, Medical Physics/Health Physics from a recognized institution.
  • Proficiency in Computer Applications.
    Fulfilled with the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
