Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes/Skills)

Academic Qualifications

Master’s degree from a recognized institution in any of the following fields: Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent qualification.

First level university degree from a recognized institution in any of the following fields: Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent qualification combined with the required work experience may be accepted in lieu of the Master’s degree.

Professional Qualifications / Membership to Professional Bodies

Professional management certifications/ qualifications as applicable.

Membership with relevant professional body, where applicable.

Undertaken Leadership/Management course from a recognized institution.

Proficiency in computer applications.

Previous Relevant Work Experience Required

Minimum of tent (10) years of relevant work experience with demonstrated competence in work performance.

Experience managing/coordinating project teams in a shipbuilding industry is desirable

Technical knowledge in maritime systems

Experience in the Disciplined Services at managerial/senior command of at least 3 years an added advantage
