Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills)

Academic Qualifications

Master’s degree in any of the following fields: Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Marine Engineering, Marine/Naval Architect or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

First level university degree in any of the following fields: Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Marine Engineering, Marine/Naval Architect or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution combined with the required work experience may be accepted in lieu of the Master’s degree.

Professional Qualifications / Membership to Professional Bodies

Certification in the relevant field from a recognized institution.

Leadership/management course from a recognized institution.

Previous Relevant Work Experience Required

Minimum of ten (10) years’ work experience with demonstrated competence in work performance.

Work experience in conducting inspections at each step of the ship production for quality assurance is desirable.

International experience in a similar role is an added advantage
