Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills)

Academic Qualifications

Master’s Degree in any of the following fields from a recognized university - Business Administration, Economics, Procurement and Supplies Management or equivalent qualifications

First level university degree in any of the following disciplines from an accredited University/College: - Procurement and Supplies Management, Procurement and Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration (Supplies Management Option), Economics or other equivalent qualifications combined with the required work experience may be accepted in lieu of the Master’s degree.

Professional Qualifications / Membership to Professional Bodies

Professional qualification/certification in relevant field; preferably Procurement
Membership to a professional body either KISM.

Certified Supplies Practitioner by KISM or CIPS or both.

Undertaken a Strategic Leadership/Management course from a recognized institution

Proficient in Computer applications

A valid Clearance Certificate from an Approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)

A valid Clearance form from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
