Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills)

Academic Qualifications

Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Finance, Accounting, Business Admiration (Finance or Accounting option) economics or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

First level degree in any of the following disciplines from an accredited University/College; Finance, Accounting, Business Admiration (Finance or Accounting option) economics or equivalent qualifications combined with the required work experience may be accepted in lieu of the Master’s degree.

Professional Qualifications / Membership to Professional Bodies

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
Passed Part III of Certified Public Accountants (CPK Kenya examination or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Be a registered member of Institute of Internal Auditors (II(Kenya Chapter) or any other a relevant professional body.

Undertaken Leadership/Management course from a recognized institution.

Proficiency in Computer application skills.

Previous Relevant Work Experience Required

A minimum period of twelve (12) years relevant work experience five (5) of which should have been in a senior management level

A valid Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)

A valid Clearance Certificate from an Approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)

A valid Clearance form from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
