Kenya School of Law Risk & Quality Assurance Officer Jobs

Overall purpose of the job

This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre.

An officer at this level will work under supervision and guidance of a senior officer.

Job Specifications (Duties)

The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail:

Assisting in the preparation and review of the departmental work plan and budget;

Assisting in the development and review of departmental quality procedures, standards in line with the Strategic Objectives;

Assisting with risk assessment and documentation of response strategies for efficient feedback of risk measures put in place;

Assisting in updating and monitoring implementation of the risks;

Assisting in conducting quality checks to ensure that services meet customer expectations;

Assisting in following up with the responsible department to ensure that recommended actions are taken up to address the identified risks;

Assisting in reviewing and updating risk registers;

Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports in matters of quality assurance;

Assisting in the preparation and review of the quality assurance document including procedures;

Assisting in Undertaking internal Audits and the preparing of

the internal audit reports;

Assisting in the planning for training and organization for staff sensitization on matters of quality;

Assisting in the development and review of quality assurance reporting templates; and

Assisting in following up on non-conformities raised during audits and implementation of the corrective action plans.

Persons’ specifications

To qualify for this position, the applicant must have: -

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Finance or Auditing options) or its equivalent from a recognized institution;

Proficiency in Computer Applications; and

Meet requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya.
