Specific Duties and Responsibilities Will Entail:
  • Collecting data for developing investment proposals that will secure continued and sustained funding of projects and activities;
  • Collecting data for developing and reviewing water and sanitation master plans for the
    Institution area of jurisdiction;
  • Drafting of tender documents;
  • Identify new water and sanitation projects;
  • Participating in stakeholder Consultations/engagement;
  • Carrying out project feasibility studies;
  • Designing water and sanitation projects;
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports;
  • Preparing performance management reports;
  • Researching on new technologies for water and sanitation;

    Qualifications and Work experience
    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Water Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a
    recognized institution.
  • Registration by the Engineers Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
