Duties and Responsibilities

  • Undertaking market research, surveys and analysis;

  • Implementing procurement plans and processing requisitions;

  • Participating in sourcing, supplier evaluation, inviting offers, negotiations and contracting;

  • Inspecting utilization and stock of supplies;

  • Participating in drafting bid awards;

  • Drafting tender advertisement notices; and

  • Verifying payment documents for goods and services delivered to the Company by suppliers.

    Requirements

    For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Procurement or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

  • Proficiency in computer application skills; and

  • Fulfilled the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

  • An Applicant with at least two (2) years’ experience in similar position will have an added advantage
