Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority Senior Records Management Officer Jobs in Kenya

The officer will be responsible to the Deputy Director Human Resource Management and Administration.

or appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-

A minimum period of four (4) years relevant work experience;

Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Information Science Management, Records Management or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
OR

Bachelors in any of the Social Sciences plus a diploma in Records Management/Information Management or relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;

Proficiency in computer applications; and

Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensuring security of information, documents, files and office equipment;

Assist in supervision of the registry;

Sorting and classifying documents for filing;

Storage, updating and maintenance of personnel records and file index;

Controlling opening of open, confidential and secret files;

Custody and Maintenance of Authority documents;

Ensuring security of information and Records in a registry/archive;

Ensuring mail are received, sorted, opened, and dispatched and related registers are maintained;

Planning appropriate office accommodation for registries;

Ensuring that file movement records are updated and maintained;

Ensuring security of files and documents;

Ensuring receipt and proper dispatch of mails and maintaining related; and

Digitizing Authority’s documents for circulation and archiving.
