Kenya National Trading Corporation Supply Chain Assistant Jobs Opportunities


Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and implementation of integrated and supportable Procurement plan, strategies and procedures.
  • Participate in sourcing suppliers, procurement, quality assurance, financial, logistics & warehouse management activities
  • Consolidate and compile procurement requirements from user departments, draft tender documents and create, update and maintain vendor database.
  • Participate in sourcing suppliers, procurement, quality assurance, logistical and warehousing management activities
  • Participate in continuous improvement and development of the Supply Solutions product
  • Create appropriate relationships with representatives of customers, suppliers and other relevant external bodies Consolidate, compile and evaluate procurement requirements from client departments
  • Undertake competitive acquisition of goods and services
  • Build effective and structured relationships with internal and external customers.

    Qualifications

  • A Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management
  • Member to KISM
  • At least two (2) years experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management
  • IT proficiency
  • Analytical skills

    Kenya National Trading Corporation Legal Assistant Jobs Opportunities

    Responsibilities

  • Drafting of contracts, leases, court pleadings and other legal instruments
  • Providing safe custody of Corporation’s documents, other records and securities
  • Participate in meeting with legal implications
  • Draft status reports on court matters affecting the Corporation
  • Monitor and keep track of all documents and reports generated within the Legal Services section
  • Ensure that all documents, records and files are well labeled as per the procedures in KNTC
  • Collect and archive all documents whose usage is not regular
  • Classify and catalogue all the records.
  • Respond to all staff requests for retrieval of documents in legal archive.
  • Carrying out the maintenance of departmental files
  • Keep track of physical assets assigned to the Corporation
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

    Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB)
  • At least (2) years experience in a legal set up/institution
  • Good administrative and coordination skills
  • Knowledge in legal records management
  • IT proficiency
