Kenya National Qualifications Authority Principal Administration Officer Jobs

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: -

t least Eight (8) years working experience in a similar position in the Public Service or Private Sector four (4) of which must be at a supervisory position;

Master’s degree (KNQF Level 9 or equivalent) in Public Administration; Business Administration; Office Management or equivalent qualification from a
recognized institution;

Bachelor’s degree (KNQF Level 7 or equivalent) in Public Administration; Business Administration; Office Management or equivalent qualification from a
recognized institution;

Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;

Proficiency in computer applications; and

Fulfill the requirements of Chapter 6 of the constitution.

Key Duties and Responsibilities;

Overseeing the implementation of administration policies, rules, standards and regulations;

Coordinating office management services, office accommodation, transport and logistics;

Making arrangements for the acquisition of legal documents such as motor vehicle and assets insurances;

Ensuring all the Authority assets have requisite ownership documents such motor vehicle logbooks, land title deeds;

Managing the medical scheme, work man’s compensation and other insurance for staff and KNQA assets;

Supervising the performance appraisals for the support staff within the Section;

Interpreting and implementing record management policies;

Developing records management systems; and

Preparation and submission of quarterly reports on administration within the Authority.
