Kenya National Bureau of Statistics Human Resource Officer, Jobs

Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) is a State Corporation established under the Statistics Act (2006). It is the principal Government agency responsible for collection, compilation, analysis, publication and dissemination of official Statistical information and its custody. It also oversees the coordination, Supervision and development of programmes within the National Statistical System (NSS).

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Human Resource Officer, the jobholder will be responsible for undertaking activities in the Human Resource Division.

Key responsibilities

Updating and maintaining recruitment and selection documents;

Verifying information related to appointments, transfers and promotions.

Processing payroll data;

Processing retirement benefits, Medical claims, and Group Personal Accidents and Group Life schemes;

Processing leave applications;

Verifying and updating staff complement and establishment;

Undertaking any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements for Appointment

Must have a Diploma in any of the following disciplines:- Human Resource Management; Business Administration or any other related qualifications from a recognized institution;

Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institute.

All applicants must meet the requirements of chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and submit the following documents: -

Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority;

Certificate from Credit Reference Bureau;

A current Certificate of Good conduct;

Clearance Certificate from HELB;

Clearance from EACC;

National identity card/passport.
