7. Kenya Meat Commission Vacancies in Kenya - Recruiting Public Relations Officer - Grade KMC 5

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Organizing and coordinating corporate events
  • Planning and Managing demonstrations and displays
  • Compilation, editing and production of Commission’s journals and press releases
  • Participate in organizational shows, exhibitions and fares
  • Organize visits to KMC by outside parties/stakeholders
  • Organizing corporate social functions

    Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication or equivalent from accredited university
  • Diploma in Journalism, Mass communication or public relations
  • Minimum three (3) years’ work experience
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications.

    Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission.

    8. Kenya Meat Commission Vacancies in Kenya - Recruiting Legal Officer I - Grade KMC 5
    Ref: KMC – LO/6/12/2016

    The legal Officer I will report to the Company Secretary.

    Duties and Responsibilities
  • File all correspondences, pleadings and other necessary documents in Legal Department registry.
  • Open and code relevant files in the Legal Department.
  • Bring up to the attention of the Company Secretary and Legal Officer all matters for
    prompt action.
  • Carry out searches in Court registries, Land registry and other relevant Government
    institutions to carry out searches and other routine duties as may be instructed.
  • Keep proper records of Contracts, Statutes, Legal Transactions, inventories and
    other records and proper manning of the Legal registry.

    Qualifications and Experience
  • A Bachelor of Law degree
  • An advocate of the High court
  • A member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK)
  • 3 years’ experience as practicing lawyer
  • Proficiency in computer applications

    9. Kenya Meat Commission Vacancies in Kenya - Recruiting Estate Management Officer - Grade 5
    Ref: KMC – EMO/6/12/2016

    The Estate Management Officer will report to the Human Resource and Administration Manager.

    Duties and responsibilities
  • Ensure that the Commission housing units are managed and maintained at the highest
    standards i.e. rates/ rent issues, repairs etc.
  • Conduct a monthly audit of housing facilities and maintain a comprehensive
    maintenance and repair schedule
  • Maintain an updated inventory of the Commission housing units
  • Liaise with the housing tribunal on matters relating to the Commission housing
  • Follow up on commission lands title deeds and surveying matters
  • Advise the Commission on housing matters
  • Prepare monthly housing management reports

    Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Land Economics
  • At least 3 years working experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications
