Kenya Institute of Management Head of Membership, Business Development and Communication Jobs Openings in Kenya


Responsibilities

  • Manage the general administration of the department for smooth running of the departmental operations
  • Develop and oversee implementation of programmes, events or activities that helps nurture membership.
  • Provide operational and strategic advisory on memberships benefits both individual and corporate members and oversee its execution.
  • Develop strategic partnerships through developing proposals for business linkages.
  • Seek sponsorship for membership events through development proposals, negotiating with prospects and partnership management
  • Consolidate departmental reports such performance reports, reports for Membership committee, business committees and management committee.
  • Represent the department in meetings such as management committee meetings and departmental meetings to report on performance and seek support where necessary.
  • Manage the Institute’s communication through various platforms such us website, social media and mainstream media to ensure accuracy and quality of the information
  • Oversee branding during corporate event to ensure look and feel is consistent with the Institute brand.
  • Support Business development for all KIMs’ products and services to generate revenue for the institution

    Qualifications

  • A Master's Degree in a Business related field from a recognized institution
  • At least eight (8) years’ experience in a large organization with at least three (3) years leading a function in an active commercial environment.
