Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development Curriculum Development Officer, Research and Knowledge Management Jobs

The Curriculum Development Officer, Research and Knowledge Management will report to the Senior Deputy Director, Curriculum Development.

Duties and Responsibilities

Developing relevant and quality curriculum and curriculum support materials;

Participating in curriculum orientation activities;

Providing input in activities of subject and course panels;

Making abstracts of research reports for dissemination in the website;

Updating of research Information Management System to facilitate monitoring of curriculum implementation;

Participating in symposia, exhibition, conferences, workshops and education days for purposes of sharing and disseminating research findings;

Organizing activities of the Research Panel and Academic Committee

Carrying out basic, applied and action research to inform development of curriculum and curricula support materials; and

Managing data communication research findings.

Requirements for Appointment

Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;

Demonstrated a high degree of professional competence, managerial and administrative capability in undertaking educational research.

Relevant working experience of at least Four (4) years

Proficient in computer use and application;

Fulfil the requirement of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
