Kenya Industrial Property Institute Senior Strategy and Planning Officer Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Strategy & Planning, the Senior Strategy & Planning Officer will be responsible for:

Assisting in preparation of strategic plans; Performance Contract and implementation programmes;

Preparation of the Institute’s work plan;

Assisting all Departments, Division, Sections and Units to prepare their work plans;

Coordinating and evaluating implementation of the Institute’s Strategic Plan, Performance Contract and other activities of the Institute;

Preparing periodic reports on the status of implementation of the Strategic Plan, Performance Contract and other activities of the Institute;

Monitoring and evaluating the performance of projects and programmes and prepare reports;

Participating in budget preparation for the Institute; and

Any other duty that may be assigned.

Requirements for Appointment

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Public Policy and Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;

A Certificate in Statistical Package for Social Sciences;

Satisfactorily served as Strategy and Planning Officer in the Institute or a comparable position with similar responsibilities for a minimum period of three (3) years;

A high degree of integrity and responsibility;

Membership to relevant professional body;

Excellent report writing and presentation skills;

Computer competency; and

Must meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
