Kenya Industrial Property Institute Senior Assistant Supply Chain Management Officer Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to Supply Chain Management Officer, the Senior Assistant Supply Chain Management Officer will be responsible for

Preparing tender notices and advertisements;

Procuring goods and services;

Participating in substantive and ad-hoc procurement committees and assisting in the preparation of committee report;

Supervising, repairs and maintenance of office assets;

Undertaking marketing survey of relevant products;

Identifying and mapping of idle assets;

Maintaining of Inventory control

Issuing goods after presentation of proper documentation and updates records accordingly;

Receipting goods in the receipt voucher;

Processing of the merchants payments; and

Any other duty that may be assigned.

Requirements for Appointment

A Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;

A high degree of integrity and responsibility;

Membership to relevant professional body;

Computer competency; and

Must meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
