Kenya Industrial Property Institute ICT Officer Jobs in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to Senior ICT Officer, the ICT Officer will be responsible for

Ensuring systems integrity, availability and security;

Maintaining the computer system and providing user support;

Carrying out system backups;

Managing the Institute’s website;

Managing user access rights;

Configuring of Local Area Network and Wide Area Network;

Training of computer users;

Installing software and hardware;

Liaising with ICT vendors;

Providing hardware and software support services; and

Any other duty that may be assigned.

Requirements for Appointment

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognised University;

MCSE or IMIS or CCNA or Certificate in IT or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution;

Satisfactorily served as Senior Assistant ICT Officer for at least three (3) years in the
Institute or a comparable position with similar responsibilities for at least three (3) years;

A high degree of integrity and responsibility; and

Must meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
