Entry Requirements :

  • Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business IT, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution.
    Membership in good standing of the relevant recognized professional body
    Proficiency in Computer applications.
    Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

    An officer at this level shall report to a senior officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installing, configuring and maintaining computer applications on ICT equipment (new/existing);

  • Provide support to service desk operations;

  • Maintain, upgrade and carry out system administration of anti-virus products to secure the
  • Service’s network from attacks;

  • Logging user problems, document solutions after resolving them;

  • Providing end user support and training users on effective and efficient use of ICT facilities;

  • Promote public values and principles

  • Mentoring and coaching
