Job Purpose

The Senior Investment & Administration Officer will be responsible for the development and review of investment and loan recovery policies, monitoring and evaluation of the existing investments and recommending appropriate strategies; and managing the credit risk on the loan portfolio in the most profitable and cost-effective manner in line with KDC
objectives.

Job Specifications

Duties and responsibilities will entail;

Scanning the market and develop new business;

Appraising investment proposals;

Contributing in negotiation of project documents;

Disbursing to approved projects;

Monitoring post investment progress of projects;

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;

Person Specification

For a candidate to be appointed to this position, they must have;

At least four (4) years’ relevant work experience.

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Business, Economics, Engineering or any other relevant field from a recognized institution;

Certified qualification in any of the following; Financial Analyst (CFA), Investment
and Financial Analyst (CIFA), Public Accountant (CPA (K) or

Association of Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA (UK) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution will be an added advantage;

Member of a relevant professional body.

Knowledge and experience in statistics, data collection, analysis and presentation;

Excellent financial modeling skills;

Excellent business acumen;

Supervisory course lasting not less than two (2) weeks

Good interpersonal, and communication skills;

Proficiency in Computer Applications.

Team player;

Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
