Brief Description

The candidate will be responsible for a vital part of the supply chain process, you will manage people, processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met. You’ll also be responsible for workplace health and safety standards and for the security of the building and stock. Specialist warehouses store temperature-controlled parts, and hazardous materials. Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report). Plan work rota, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results. Numerate and ability to apply KPI’s to drive performance management at all levels in the warehouse including outstation.

Qualification(Minimum)

University degree in Supply Chain Management OR Diploma in Engineering/Procurement OR CIPS qualification (Level 5) and 3 years’ experience.

Proficiency in use of the airline inventory management system

Knowledge of regulations related to aircraft parts and industry requirements on aircraft materials.

Advanced knowledge and experience in inventory management.

Knowledge of quality audit requirements and procedures

Knowledge of lean techniques.

Membership of an appropriate professional body.

Strong IT systems knowledge and skills.

Knowledge in Dangerous Goods Regulations.

2 years in supervisory/management positions.

5 years’ experience in materialsmanagement/storekeeping activities of aviation/aeronautical parts and supplies.

Other Skills

Basic Knowledge of Aviation Legislation/Regulations.

Managerial or supervisory skills.

Analytical, planning and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Project management skills.

Organizational skills.

Good communication skills.
