Brief Description

Organize, conduct, evaluate training anddevelopment programs to enhance organizational and individual performance ofoperational personnel and commercial customers.

Detailed Description

  • Develop training curriculum, syllabi and manuals for Flight Operations Officers, pilots, and Load controllers.

  • Conduct load control training for pilots and FOOs to enable them to complete a load sheet as per KCAA regulations and Company requirements and standards for each fleet.

  • Plan, organize, schedule and deliver Flight Operations Training programs in collaboration with the various functions in order to enable easy access and full participation.

  • Ensure that all training is conducted as per the KCAA/Company policy and standards.

  • Prepare and ensure quality of classrooms during lecture, encourage participation of audience

  • Issue certificates / licenses to qualified staff to ensure compliance with KCAA and KQ Standards and Procedures.

  • Deliver commercial training programs to contribute to the achievement of revenue generation.

  • Maintain competency, qualification and where required certified in both the subject matter required to deliver.

  • Supporting the review of operational manuals to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and company training standards within operational areas.

  • Act as subject matter expert for the
    business with regards to Flight Operations/Aircraft Handling and Loading issues.

  • Create a learning culture by always engaging learners and their managers.

    Job Requirements

  • University graduate/ Higher Diploma/ Diploma

  • Load Control training

  • FOO Dispatch License/ATPL pilots license

  • Instructional Techniques

  • Instructional Design

  • Turnaround Coordination & Loading Supervision training

  • Working knowledge of KCAA rules and regulations

  • Delivering service in demanding consumer environment

  • At least three (3) years in a supervisory role in Load Control or in Airline Flight Operations
