QualificationsFor appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields, Commerce, Business Administration (Supply Management) option, Economics, Procurement and Supplies Management, Marketing or the equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer application
Fulfilling the requirements of Chapter (6) Six of the Constitution.
Duties and Responsibilities at this level will entail:
Processing of agenda for the tender committees and assisting in implementation of decision thereof.
Prepare and update store ledgers and all store documents.
Opening of tenders/quotations.
Undertake technical evaluation/quotation analysis.
Issuance of goods from store to user divisions.
Serve as a secretary to both opening and technical committees.
Prepare stock reports/ reconciliations and submit to relevant users.
To prepare good received note/documents and pass to the Accountant for payment.
Undertake any other professional duties assigned by the supervisor.
