KenGen Investment Analyst Jobs in Kenya; The position is responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the Investment Unit.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities are:

a) Draft investment reports on both the financial and non-financial assets;

b) Maintain accurate Investment register;

c) Participate in the forward-planning on investments;

d) Participate in preparing investment reports on a monthly basis.

e) Participate in the preparation of investment proposals

f) Participate in looking for prospects from the referral, leads and any other sources

g) Participate in reviewing business trends and collecting investment-related data

h) Develop presentations to be used by the unit leader to relevant parties

Knowledge and Skills Required:

The job holder must possess;

a) Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field
from a recognized university

b) Must have completed CIFA and registered with ICIFA, or CFA or CISI or CPA (K) or
ACCA

c) Membership to relevant professional bodies in good standing

d) Four (4) years’ experience in a similar role in assessment of investment opportunities,
investment management , analyzing investments portfolios valuation, performance and
risk.

e) Substantial experience in identifying, analysing, negotiating, structuring investment
portfolios

f) Substantial knowledge of investment of pension funds as well as global trends and
developments for similar investments

g) Excellent communication skills

h) Strong problem-solving skills and be able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
