1. Country Sales Manager (Kenya)
Reports to: Head of Regional Sales (North)
Job Purpose:Manages sales of the company’s products and services within the specified country.
Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel.
Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings.
Number of Staff Supervised:

Total: 35
Key Accountabilities:Head of Country Sales in charge of all sales operations, departments and personnel involved in the sales function of the country under responsibility.
To achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and grow profitable sales year on year.
Manage and drive distributors to deliver in terms of resources, reports, coverage and appropriate terms of trade.
Conduct annual appraisals to drive go to market excellence.
Development of key customer relationships through monthly operational reviews to ensure that product availability, distribution and opportunities are fully maximized.
Gather competitive information; identify trends that effect current and future growth of country sales and profitability. Disseminate information to regional sales representatives, corporate marketing and sales operations.
In conjunction with the category and marketing managers develop trade channel specific consumer & trade activity plans.
Develop and implement efficient route to market strategies for both General and Modern trade channels maximizing product availability at lowest possible cost.
Daily and weekly evaluation of key sales metrics for both retail (RMS) and wholesale performance.
Execute distribution and visibility plans for new product introductions.
Drive best in class standards for product availability and visibility across all product lines.
Take ownership for the Country’s monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasting and sales tracking.
Directs the selling activities within the Region, inclusive of resource deployment and customer interactions.
Responsible for managing and controlling the sales budget.
Coach and train direct reports on best in class sales management practices.
Update and brief the Head of Regional Sales (North) on business performance on a regular basis.
Education and Training Requirements:
A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred; or a minimum of seven years of related experience or training in the manufacturing sector; or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
Experience in developing trade marketing and sales strategies.
Strong experience and knowledge of deep and wide route to market excellence
Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
A valid driver’s license

2. Quality Control Team Leader
Reports to: NPD Manager
Area: Confectionary Division
Job Purpose: Ensure adherence of specifications and quality procedures at all stages are followed in the production process.
Direct Reports: 5
Key Accountabilities:
To lead a team of 5 0nline Qc
Inspection and close monitoring of all production standard operating procedures and parameters for all value streams.
Daily monitoring and updating of dashboard;
which will form a link between the production heads and RQDC team, to ensure daily production data is collected accurately with regard to any Quality issues or deviations to parameters.
Carrying out inspections at random of all in-process products and finished products.
Monitoring of all packing lines ;-
Coding of products
Verify at random number of pieces packed
Verify piece weight of all products at random
Cross check whether products are well prepared
Bags/sachet sealing for jars- tamper proofing
Overall product Quality (taste/appearance/texture/colour)
Management of high Standard of hygiene and GMP in entire production floor.
Personal hygiene inspections.
Education and Training Requirements:
Diploma / Certificate Analytical Chemistry / Bio Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Food science / Microbiology.
Should have a minimum of 3 years work experience as a cell leader, assistant value stream leader or QC
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Should be aged 20 years and above
Training in either of the ISO standards (9001/ 14001/ 18001/ 22000) is an added advantage

3. Category Manager
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager
Area: Confectionary Division
Job Purpose: To provide focus on Planning and Execution of strategies for the category, across the sales, distribution marketing and part of supply chain functions.
Key Accountabilities:
Ensure their category is available and visible at all points of sales in general and modern trade; work with ASMs to ensure execution in all areas nationally.
Ensure Merchandising material is appropriately placed at all points of sale; Work with ASMs to ensure execution in all areas nationally.
Plan and Execute all advertising and promotional activities for the category ,leverage on consumer marketing platforms; work with Marketing manager and agencies.
Forecast demand for their category based on marketing plans and external factors; work with supply chain planner.
Responsible for budget development, revenue and marketing budget for the category; work with Country sales manager and Business Unit head.
Identify Growth and innovation opportunities through generation of consumer and marketing insights; work with NPD team
Responsible for competitive analysis and ensure pricing and value chain models are competitive and well defined for their category; work with FBP and CSM, approval by BUH.
Education and Training Requirements:
A University Degree in Business/Sales/Marketing or similar related field.
At least 5 years experience in similar /adjacent role in FMCG.
Solid knowledge of sales and marketing principles especially in FMCG.
Competencies:
An analytical, detail oriented mind with strong bias for execution and ability to execute through people.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
Ability to build relationships with and influence internal and external stakeholders
