Job SummaryThe Pharmaceutical Technologist will report to the Pharmacist in-charge and will be responsible for
ensuring that the pharmacy assignments are executed in the highest standards possible as per the AGREE Trial study protocol, GCP and GPP guidelines. S/he must be flexible and work within the existing structure, in a professional and ethical manner with competence, accountability and integrity.
Job Specification:Dispensing prescribed medications and pharmaceutical preparations
Verifying and maintaining information relating to patients
Ordering and recording of drugs and other supplies;
Verifying and maintaining records relating to patients;
Custody and storing of drugs;
Ensuring that the working environment meets the stipulated requirements
Prepare pharmacy/drugs monthly reports
Person Specification:
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
Registration Certificate issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons board;
Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) - Added advantage
Proficiency in computer application
