KCSE Results - Chogoria Girls Emerges Top in Meru County

Chogoria Girls emerges top in region from 2015 KCSE

Chogoria Girls was the best school in Meru County with a mean score of 10.659.

Some 21 candidates attained Grade A and while another 104 got A (minus).

Meru School also posted good results with a mean score of 9.7.

Eleven students managed to get straight As, 76 got A (minus), 30 scored B, 47 (B-), 100 C+, nine (C) while one got a C 9minus).

"We thank God that in an year when massive exam leakage and cancellations were reported in Meru, we were able to retain our grade last year," head teacher Silas Mwirigi told a celebration assembly.

Materi Girls High School in Tharaka Nithi also performed well with a mean score of 9.675.

One student, Susan Nduta Migwi, scored an A while 36 others had A (minus), 68 with B+, 39 with Grade B (minus), 14 with C+.

Chogoria Boys High School in Maara Constituency got a mean of 9.0392 with 21 A (minus) and more than 50 candidates attaining university entry grades.

Kiurani Secondary School in Maara district also shone with a mean score of 9.788.
