KCB Senior Finance Manager - Tax Jobs in Kenya



Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparation on a timely basis, the Corporation Income Tax CIT return for KCB Bank Kenya. This includes the preparation review and approval of all direct and indirect tax returns, filings, and payments for KCB Bank Kenya taxes.

  • Responsible for the implementation of tax governance, tax controls and compliance processes for KCB Bank Kenya in compliance with the Group Tax Policy.

  • Implementation of Transfer Pricing Policy in the KCB Bank Kenya context and custody of all related documentation around all TP transactions.

  • Responsible for ensuring that changes introduced by the various legislations (e.g Finance Act) are implemented.

  • Responsible for tax risk identification, tracking and reporting for KCB Bank Kenya.

  • Responsible (in consultation with Group resources) on all KCB Bank Kenya tax litigations and appropriate professional advice and justifications for tax provisions on all uncertain tax positions.

  • Develop automation and implement systems for collating, analysing tax data to provide relevant management information and reports to specified stakeholders.

  • Responsible for review of other tax returns (over and above corporation tax).

  • Responsible for tax reporting and disclosures for KCB Bank Kenya Financials.

  • Train, guide and provide leadership, direction and pace to the team, peers and other key stakeholders.

    Minimum Position Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in a business related field from a recognized institution. A Master's degree is an added advantage.

  • Certified Public Accountant

  • At least 5 years work experience in tax management as well as management experience in financial analysis and people management
