KCB Foundation BDS Team Leaders Jobs in Kenya for Fresh Graduates

The KCB Foundation launched 2jiajiri, a youth empowerment programme in 2016. 2jiajiri catalyses the creation of jobs and wealth through targeted skills training (Phase I) and entrepreneurship development (Phase II).

2jiajiri Phase I targets out of school youth aged 18-35 years and provides skills training for unskilled youth (skillers) and for apprentices (up-skillers).

2jiajiri Phase II targets graduates of Phase I, who opt to start enterprises following their training.

Phase II also targets existing micro entrepreneurs who seek business development services support to formalise and grow their businesses.

2jiajiri Phase II support is characterised by the provision of Business Development Services (BDS) and provision of market and industry linkages to complement the BDS support the Phase II beneficiaries receive.

AMSCO Development Solutions Ltd will support KCB Foundation in the implementation of Phase II of 2jJiajiri having entered into a cooperative agreement with the Foundation.

We are therefore looking at engaging Consultant BDS Team leaders and Officers who will work with the already identified beneficiaries in various regions of Kenya, namely; Nairobi, Central, Coast, Great Rift and Western.

The Consultant BDS team leaders will work for a period not exceeding 12 months providing technical support to skilled youth and microenterprises in the areas of legal, accounting and marketing.

It is expected that at the end of the one year period, the BDS support given to

Consultant BDS Team Leaders role will include supervising the Consultant BDS Officers as well as reviewing outputs of the beneficiaries receiving the BDS support.

They shall also offer support with the process of graduating Phase I beneficiaries into Phase II as well as representing KCB Foundation under the guidance of the KCB Foundation Business Development Manager.
