KCB Bank Finance Department,Financial Reporting Manager Jobs in South Sudan



Responsibilities

  • Prepare the bank’s monthly financial performance and the accompanying analysis.

  • Prepare the quarterly financial reports for consolidation by the Group ensuring they comply with the Bank of South Sudan regulations.

  • Coordinate audits by internal and external auditors, Central Bank, and Directorate of Taxation.

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/IAS, Banking Act, Companies Act, Taxation Act and Prudential guidelines.

  • Ensure all taxes are paid on time and returns filed with the Directorate of Taxation as outlined in the Taxation Act.

  • Prepare any other financial reports required by the management from time to time.

  • Ensure all regulatory returns and any other information requested from time to time by the regulator is correctly compiled and submitted to the Central Bank on time.

  • Provide ALCO reports and analysis at least a week before the meeting.

  • Champion cost management strategies through use of oracle financials and other tools existing within the bank.

  • Ensure integrity of the general ledger through daily review and analysis.

  • Financial reporting in hyperinflationary economies

  • Knowledge of Treasury and Nostro reconciliation

    Requirements

  • University Degree in a business-related field from a recognized university. A Masters in any relevant field will be an added advantage.

  • Professional qualification:
    CPA (K)/ ACCA Fellow/CA Fellow.

  • At least 8 years management experience in a busy financial environment, 3 of which should be in Financial and Management reporting environment.

  • Knowledge and hands on experience in Oracle Financials.

  • Sound knowledge of South Sudan prudential guidelines and Taxation laws.

  • Wide knowledge of industry practice.

  • Understanding of IFRS/IAS and accounting principles.

  • Demonstrated creativity, analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Excellent report writing skills and superior verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization.

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively with a diverse group.
