Karirana Estates Accounts Assistant-Payroll Jobs in Kenya; The company seeks to fill the position of Accounts Assistant-Payroll in the Human Resource Department. The job holder will ensure that valid employees are paid on time for work performed and that all deductions and recoveries, statutory or otherwise are effected accordingly and remissions done within set timelines.

Core Responsibilities

Ensure payroll checks are accurately calculated, distributed, and deposited;

Communicate with supervisors, peers, and subordinates to verify attendance, hours worked, transfers, pay rise, payroll discrepancies, and benefit plans;

Process all staff related payments for the respective group of employees including allowances, per diems, advances, and any other staff related payments;

Prepare, review, and analyze payroll data and reports for the respective group of employees;

Explain to employees how pay is calculated, or translate numbers on payroll statements such as retirement withholdings, vacation pay, and health insurance deductions;

Calculate all deductions and reimbursements for the respective group of employees and coordinate timely and accurate submission of all statutory returns;

Provide administrative support and implement the payroll policies

and procedures;

Administer payroll using an accounting software program in order to stay up-to-date with each employee's remuneration data.

Minimum Requirements

CPA Part II

Strong MS Excel skill and ability to undertake various analysis

At least 1 year relevant experience

Experience in FMCG environment

MS Office and ERP proficiency

Integrity and attention to detail
